World Population Day is an annual event, observed on July 11 every year, which seeks to raise awareness of global population issues. The theme of World Population Day 2022 is 'A World of 8 billion: Towards a resilient future for all- Harnessing Opportunities and ensuring rights and choices for all'. As per this year's theme, there are 8 billion people living today, however, not all of them have equal rights and opportunities. Form 9 Economics students were engaged in two activities in class: PowerPoint presentations and poster making, addressing the issue of rising world population, causes for the same, and policies taken by different countries' government to ensure equal opportunities for all.
