National Bird Day is observed every year on January 5. Nature lovers, environmentalists, bird protectors, and people across India observe National Bird Day with great enthusiasm. National Bird Day is one of the several holidays designated for celebrating birds. The purpose of this holiday is to bring attention to the plight of our feathered friends, particularly birds that are not native to our land and are captive here. Team Environment is proud to have designed an activity-based presentation to celebrate and spread awareness on 'National Bird Day'. The activities were done across the middle school on 29th December, 2021. As a part of it, children played games like word search, kahoot, bird related quizzes. There were many interesting informational videos based on bird facts. To end it all on a creative and festive note, children also created bird-themed greeting cards for their friends and family in the spirit of the holiday season. The activity was enjoyed by all and children and teachers alike looked forward to having it again next year.
