After being confined to their homes for two years, the Ramites were back on the field! The much-awaited football house matches were organised on our newly renovated field in the month of May, for the students of forms 6 and 7.

Four houses, one winner- each goal bringing their house one step closer to the house cup and all players giving their all on the pitch for the colour of their t-shirts. This was an ideal way for the players to start their journey in senior school. Having house matches not only increased the morale of our young Ramites but also set a stage for a stress-free and exciting transition from junior school. They experienced the rush of exhilaration, whether they were on the pitch or surrounded by their nervous house captains and passionate fellow students. What a sight it was with everyone cheering for their house, either from the side-lines of the field or from the multiple floors of the newly constructed ramp over-looking the field!

“The house matches improved my mood and boosted my self-esteem. The school field was vast, and I could explore my skills on it. Our biggest competitor was Himgiri house as we lost to them.”

“Winning the house matches felt amazing. I really enjoyed playing them. During our last match, I almost gave up when we were losing 2-0 but soon realised that if I did, I would be letting not only myself down but also my whole team. In the last 10 minutes we scored 3 goals and won. I can’t explain how happy I was at that moment.”
