As a part of the Earth Day celebrations in TSRS A, students of middle school engaged in a plethora of activities planned by the Environment team on April 19th. Three different activities were designed for each form. Grade VI went to the field for a fun-filled scavenger hunt wherein they reconnected with Mother Nature. Grade VII made beautiful artifacts from old newspapers and recycled papers using the papier mâché technique. Grade VIII engaged in an activity named ‘Trash to Treasure’ in which they repurposed old day-to-day products into useful and practical objects. The activities were not only interesting but also instrumental in teaching young learners the first steps to a sustainable lifestyle.
